PR support leads to national award

January 2008
Congratulations to Words Worth client Jan Smith of EOL IT Services who has made it to the top in a national business competition.
Chairman Jan was named as one of Britain's most inspirational women in the Everywoman awards.
In the Nat-West sponsored awards Jan received the Hera prize for her inspirational leadership. She was presented with the trophy by TV presenter Fiona Bruce at London's Dorchester Hotel along with other winners, Elle McPherson and retired Head of MI5 Stella Rimmington.
It is a well-deserved award for Jan who started her IT recycling company (formerly End-O-Line) 11 years ago at her kitchen table with a £20 investment. Her business abilities have attracted global organisations and institutions. Along with its recent change of name to EOL IT Services the company has announced its expansion into providing comprehensive services covering the life of IT equipment from start to finish. Jan's main advice for budding entrepreneurs is: "Never stop believing in yourself."
